Nikola Jokic spent the whole 2025 season and 2025 Playoffs proving that he is, in fact, the most valuable player on any NBA roster. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ended up taking home the MVP trophy and the injured Nuggets couldn’t overcome the Thunder, but even then, Shai would have to agree that no player adds more value to their team and is so integral to its success than Jokic.
In this article, we’re going to break down Nikola Jokic’s 2025 and, more importantly, the Nikola Jokic shoes we have seen on his feet.

2024-25 Regular Season
Nikola Jokic’s 2025 regular season was, in typical Jokic fashion, somehow both elite and understated. The Joker put up 29.6 ppg, 12.7 rpg, and 10.2 apg while shooting 57% from the field. It was yet another campaign that reminded us we’re watching a once-in-a-generation basketball talent.
And yet, because of how consistent he’s become, it almost flew under the radar. No major slumps. No wild statistical spikes (except maybe his 61-point triple-double). Just pure, steady dominance. He was named to the All-NBA First Team (again), but Jokic fatigue is real, and it led to a slightly quieter MVP discussion this time around (he finished second behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander).
Denver cruised to a 50-32 record, good enough for the 4th seed in a hyper-competitive Western Conference. But it’s the playoffs where Jokic tends to truly show why he might be the most unguardable player in the league.
2025 Playoffs
Jokic’s 2025 postseason was a slow, surgical dissection of every defense sent his way, with no proper backup from his supporting cast (except a couple of clutch performances from Aaron Gordon). Through 14 playoff games, the big man averaged 26.2 ppg, 12.7 rpg, and 8 apg. Denver ultimately was eliminated by the Oklahoma City Thunder, but not because the Joker didn’t show up.
The Nuggets as a team had real issues with the LA Clippers in the first round, even though Jokic put up 24 ppg, 11.6 rpg, and 10.1 apg. Kawhi Leonard, in particular, was a major problem for Denver, but even though it took them 7 games, they were able to eliminate the Clippers.
In the second round, the Nuggets would face Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder. This series would again take 7 games, but it would be OKC who would prevail. Jokic was still brilliant during this series, averaging 28.4 ppg, 13.9 rpg, and 6 apg, but it wasn’t enough to make it to the Western Conference Finals.
What Shoes Does Nikola Jokic Wear?
The 2024-25 season wasn’t the most successful season on court for Jokic, however, he did get his first signature, so in that respect it was a banner year. Jokic signed with 361 in 2024, a brand that Aaron Gordon also belongs to, and since then, we have been anxiously awaiting a Joker signature shoe.

While waiting for his signature model, Joker played in a great 361 basketball shoe in several PE iterations called the 361 Big 3 Pro. He rocked both the 4.0 and the 5.0 versions of the shoe, but during the 2024-25 season, he only briefly played in the 4.0 version before getting his signature. This was during a preseason game vs the Boston Celtics, during the 2024 Abu Dhabi games.
Aside from that, Nikola Jokic played in only 1 other model the rest of the season, although technically we did see him wearing one other model, and that shoe was his first signature shoe:
361 Joker 1
There is an expression in the sneaker-verse: “Big men don’t sell shoes” meaning that signature shoes belonging to big men tend to be particularly unpopular. If that’s the case, the Joker 1 has a very good chance of breaking with that tradition. This is a very versatile basketball shoe. The Joker 1, simply put, is a great first signature shoe, and there are not many (or any) better-equipped basketball shoes for $130. This is a very versatile basketball shoe. Whether you are a big, power-based player or a light, speedy guard, the Joker 1 has you covered. Read the full review. Price: $130
*Note: Nikola Jokic did wear the Joker 1 GT on rare occasions during the season. You can even see a picture of them in the carousel above. However, he showed an overwhelming preference for the regular Joker 1. Once we review the Joker 1 GT we’ll link to it here…but it’s hard to believe it can justify the $70 price increase.
One odd observation regarding Jokic’s footwear has nothing to do with his sneakers. Joker made some waves last season because he was spotted with his wedding ring tied to his shoes with his laces. This season, it seems that he stopped doing that, even though, by the looks of it, his on-court version of the Joker 1 has an added strap for this purpose. This strap is not on the retail versions of the shoe, and it is the only reason I can think of why this would be on the shoe.

361 Team Joker 1

Lastly, the only other shoe we have seen the Joker wear this season was the team version of his signature shoe. The Team Joker 1 is the takedown version of the flagship model, but it features a lot of the features found in the Joker 1. Same cushioning, carbon fiber spring plate, outdoor-ready traction… all for just $110.

How about the Joker 1 GT?
Good catch, we meant to throw a note in there about the 1 or 2 times he wore the Joker 1 GT. We’ve now added that note. We should get them in soon for a full review.
